Weekend Close to Home

We finished our planned agenda on Friday, so on the weekend we played it by ear. I had a nice walk into town, which is always a treat. Saturday we also went to Crawley just west of Gatwick for a quick bit of shopping, and had a late lunch in the rain at the Spotted Dog. Sunday, I walked into town again, cooked Sunday dinner, and afterwards walked with Kim on the Swan-Lane path through the countryside.

The time here in Edenbridge has beeen a delight. Thanks so much to Matt and Kim for allowing us to crash in their comfortable guest room. And a huge thanks to Kim for hauling us around the south of England to visit so many great places.

Tomorrow we head up to London for a couple of weeks with Opa and Annie, so there will be more. This is all for now.

OXO
