Courtauld, Burough, and Matilda

Tuesday, 11 October, we spent the morning at the Courtauld Institute Galleries. We rode to St. Paul's where we crossed the Millennium Bridge to Southwark. Stephen and Ann went to the Globe to a matinee and Kris and I went to Borough Market for a delicious lunch. We made our way to Seven Dials to pick up our tickets for an evening show. We walked to Oxford Street for a quick look at M&S before bussing home for supper before the theatre. We finished the day at a fun performance of Matilda.

 Off on the 94 bus

Does anyone know where I can find a bus on Regents Street?

Not a single foreigner sitting at Piccadilly Circus

 We laughed right out loud

 Seurat

 Modigliani

 Fantastic floor grates

 Renaissance Majolica

 Chinese explanation

 Vincent

 St. Paul's looming large

 Southwark, London, and Tower Bridges

 Millenium Bridge

 Cheese Graters and Walkie Talkies

Another of their adverts elsewhere added that this yuge burger
"makes even big hands look small": go GBK!
* thick in British means uninteligent

 Borough Market

 Pie and mash, again

 That pig went down well

 Southwark Cathedral

 Cambridge Theatre

 Delightful

That's all for now.

OXO
