Warning: post-surgery photo
After the trip, life returned to a normal, less compelling rhythm with daily walks, dinners and outings with family and friends, a birthday, a baptism, and SNAP. One life-altering event was a bit of surgery to remove Kris's bunion and a neuroma that had been bugging her for years.
Easter was nice: all the family (except for the Youngs and Hastings) gathered for a traditional Easter dinner of lamb with mint sauce and all the other accompaniments. Conner also joined us. I enjoyed the coconut cupcakes in Texas so much, that I decided to make a coconut cake. It was really delicious. After dinner, the kiddos had an egg hunt, so all in all, it was a fine evening.
Annie and I each had the scary-looking fish at El Mexal -
it was delicious

Favorite things: rock canyon and Katy Kathryn's baby bump. In reverse order.
I want you to make me that coconut cake and the cabbage. And mint sauce. Lucy said the only fomo in life she has is Provo fomo. Looks like she should avoid this post.
