Back in Arizona

Maren and Gavin asked if I would stay with their kids while they attended Gavin's sister, NaEda's, wedding in Virginia. As time drew near, because she lost the huge boot and has mended well, I asked Kris if she wanted to come too. We bought her a ticket and with her doctor's blessing, she came along. Monday after flying directly from Provo to Mesa, we dropped Kris at Grandmother's where she will spend the week, and I came over to Peoria with Maren. Today was training day. We made lists, schedules, and menus and purchased all the food for the week. We washed, sorted, and folded clothes, and I made stroganoff for supper.

When I fly on an Airbus plane, I always think fondly of Gavin

Kim is in Arizona and she and Tyler (with Ember and Brigham)
were at Grandmother's when we arrived

She brought chocolates for Kris, Thornton's for me and
Jaffa Cakes for Maren and family: super thoughtful!

Dinner was provided by Greek Wraps in Peoria

This incredible watercolor by Beckham reminds me
of Wassily Kandnski's wonderful paintings

The artist and his mother headed into the local
Kirkland Temple

Beckham acquired a third eye at Trader Joe's

 Relaxing a bit after school

Harry said the stroganoff was delicious

A heavenly evening with perfect temperatures: the weather
has been lovely, so far

Maren and Gavin are off to Virginia in the morning and the adventure begins in earnest. So I will let you know how it goes.  That is all for now.

OXO

Let the good times begin! How wonderful that Beck is potty trained now!
