La Villa Real de la Santa Fe de San Francisco de Asís

With Rob and Anna off to Ireland, we settled into Santa Fe for a week with the extremely capable Hastings children. All we really had to do was some shopping, cooking, schedule juggling, and lots of shuttling -- Anna's Leaf was so fun to zip around in. Being there was great fun and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Clara, Kris, and I started off with a Saturday visit to Albuquerque for some groceries at the Kirkland Temple, some birthday shopping at ABQ Uptown, and a quick Better-Call-Saul driving tour. There were some fine morning walks and several trips to Clafoutis, the killer patisserie, for unhealthy lunches on several days.

It's not Ireland, but a trip down I-25 to Albuquerque is fun

Religieuse au café: heaven!

There is lots that I love about Santa Fe, and the rest of our week there will follow in the next post.

It all looks most excellent. I am sad I missed the Better Call Saul tour and the religeuse.

How very fun, and all the treats look delightful. So great that you got to be there.
