Friday afternoon, 10 June, Katy Kathryn dropped us off at the SLC airport for a flight to Dulles by way of Denver. We arrived around midnight in Virginia and after picking up the car, making a wrong turn onto the DC toll road, we finally arrived at the Hampton Inn in Warrenton around 2:00 A.M. We jumped up early to attend the kids' soccer games which occupied most of the morning. I spent the afternoon helping Anna with supper and the preparations for Sunday dinner while Kris took a group back to the hotel to swim. We had delicious pulled-pork sandwiches with coleslaw and Courtney made her famous whoopie pies for dessert.

It was fun to be back with the kids in Virginia and we had a nice day.
