Oh snap! Much to our chagrin, they were closed on Mondays and after driving all that way, we had to settle for a crumby dinner at Sizzler in Ogden. We never made it back -- until tonight.
This fall Debra Sue stopped at Maddox while traveling to Logan with Alison. She was extremely thoughtful and sent us a Maddox gift card. Tonight we drove to Brigham City and finally redeemed the card. It was a lovely evening and the food was worth the wait.
It was great to finally get to complete our honeymoon adventure and we had a wonderful evening. More later.

What a great story! I'm glad you could finally complete the adventure.
Finally you are out of the honeymoon stage! Looks like a nice evening.
Mmm. I'm a sucker for delicious chicken fried steak! maybe some day i can try it!
Congrats. That is great that you finally have closure on that moment in time.
And man do I love old pioneer tabernacles!
I remember Maddox from years ago. It was one my folks favorite places. Didn't know it was still there.
I went to Maddox after going bungee jumping with a bunch of rowdies way back when I lived on
9th East. It was yummy! Now maybe I'll drag John up there, but we'll probably skip the bungee jumping.
Love that place - was introduced by my grandparents about 15 years ago. idb
Never heard of it, but sounds yummy.
