The East-End Walk

The Youngs have arrived. We went first thing to Portobello Road and toward noon we walked the east end of London. We visited Covent Garden, Lincoln's Inn Fields, and The Old Curiosity Shop. We got lunch at Pret and then nipped into the Temple. We ate lunch beside the Temple Church and the proceded to Dr. Johnson's House, St. Paul's, Postman Park, Leadenhall Market, and Lloyd's of London.

Tonight we will pack for our trip north to York and the Lakes, so we will be unable to blog for a few days. When we return we will be back in touch.

Looks VERY VERY fun. Where was Mom? Is Harry sleeping his way through London? :) Have fun up North. I know you will!

And, what will the ayoungs be doing whilst you are away?

Mom was shopping for and shipping Meg's birthday present.

Harry is mostly awake, it was probably his after-lunch nap.

The Youngs will be going north as well. Tina and Tony won't be doing any extended trips with us so the seats are available. They are a bit worn out. We will be their last group. They are headed to Australia after Christmas.

We'll be back at you when we return.

OXO

Thanks for the warning that we will be waiting a few days for new posts. The pictures are lovely. How great to have the Youngs with you.

Hi Dave and Kris! Anna suggested that I check out your adventures in London. I almost can't stand it, it all looks so fabulous! Oh, to have to be an armchair (or in this case, computer-chair) traveler--it's not the same!! Your pictures are so fun and it's bringing back so many great memories. Thanks for giving me a love of London and so many great experiences there. I'm looking forward to seeing it all again through your blog. Have fun!
