Binker Care Is Us

Sunday we went to Sacrament Meeting with the Hastings and then ran a couple of errands. We had a lovely Sunday dinner provided by Anna with a chocolate mousse cake from Costco by us. I took Rob and Anna to the airport for their flight to Billings via SLC and the rest of the evening we cooled our heels. Today we were on our own with a fairly complex schedule of departures, pick-ups, and drop offs. I walked the grade schoolers to their destination prior to taking Bella for a walk up Thomas Creek. We worked in a bit of time for some shopping for Mothers Day stuff (mostly unsuccessful) We beat a quick return to be home for various arrivals, and then went grocery shopping for the week's meals. There were several trips down the hill for piano lessons, dance lessons, and the like. By 7:00 P.M. all were safely gathered in and we finally ate dinner: cheese and beef enchiladas and homemade guacamole. It was a crazy day.

Clara's Baptism Day

Saturday, 2 May, Clara was baptized at the Neil Road Chapel in Reno. The boys gave the prayers, Anna and I spoke, and Rob did the heavy lifting. It was really a very nice service and I believe Clara was really pleased. Midday we drove up Mount Rose and down into Tahoe for some pleasant time at the beach. We returned home for dinner at Texas Roadhouse, Clara's choice for her special day. In the evening, the adults went to see Woman in Gold, which was very enjoyable.

Provo to Reno

Thursday we had cousins' breakfast in SLC. Back home we got ready to travel, had visit with Dr. Pain, and Thursday evening we met met the Taylors and Wais at Janet's for supper. Friday we headed to Reno. Arriving here we spent some time unpacking Clara's special gift from Auntie Maren and arranging furniture in Rob and Anna's dining room, reborn music room. The boys had friends here and Rob bought pizza for supper. We had a delightful sunset/moonrise walk and now we are ready for bed.
