End of April 2023

Having just recovered from jet lag, we headed south to Arizona for a few days with Maren and family and a reunion with the Boynton siblings. With that, April was gone.

We love to stop in Henderson and have supper at the Greek Bistro

Onion-chopping goggles and dirty martinis

The Youngs back yard is delightful on a perfect spring evening

Gavin smoked ribs for Sunday dinner

They were tender and delicious

The Sicilian Butcher and Baker

Monday supper

Harry David

Salute!

Lake Pleasant at golden hour

Iconic Arizona

Mesa with the Boyntons at Pete's: beloved version of (not) fish
and chips, but the sloppy fish sandwich is good

Spiffing up the parent's graves

Lolly is a dear

Waldo's BBQ: best onion rings I have ever tasted

Brisket, cornbread, and slaw

The Musical Instruments Museum, Scottsdale

An overwhelming collection of instruments from every tiny
corner of the globe - beautifully displayed

Who doesn't love a calliope?

That old man in the background is exhausted

These girlies were spent, too

Delicious dinner at Allesia's in Mesa

Carbonarra

Up to the Mogollon Rim and the M&K Boynton Cabin

An ATV excursion

Matthew at the wheel

The East Verde River flows year-round

The big melt and high water was in January

Two of the four Boynton boys

Brig and his excellent mom

Madi was in Peoria for our last night

Back home to the fabulous Utah mountains

That's all for April.

OXO
