Mid May 2021

After returning from Arizona we hosted Tucker while he waited to get in his new dorm/apartment. The Group got together in person for the first in many moons at the Ostergars. We spent the end of a week in May with the little Colvers in Vernal while their parents attended a conference in SLC.

Mothers Day flowers from Dickie and the Hastings

Back in business

Home Depot for flowers

Tucker helping Grammy with the back-yard project

Getting Tucker settled back at the University of Utah

Post-move-in lunch in SLC

A tasty and beautiful bedside welcome to Vernal from KKTC

Katy Kathryn making some fine chilaquiles before taking off to SLC

Reading with the binkers

Big Arthur and little Arthur

Coloring was good fun

Supper from the fish and chips truck (it travels all over Utah)

Evelyn Alta is a capable kiddo just like her mother was

A trip up Enchanted Canyon

Dry Creek isn't dry right now

With Grandma (these kids alternate calling her Grammy and
Grandma) on the bridge to the Dry Creek Flume Trail

It is a beautiful spot

The binkers spotted deer tracks

They found a little Hobbit hidey-hole

Back down the trail to the picnic spot

Food always tastes better in nature

Fall-off-the-bone chicken for Sunday dinner

And the kids helped make banana bread (needed a couple
of more minutes in the oven)

The rest of May will be in the next post, so this is all for now.

OXO
