End of June 2019: Vernal

We spent the last weekend of June with the Colver kiddos while their parents had an anniversary getaway in Midway. Evelyn and I went to the Unita County Fair and had a great time. (The first part of June is in the previous post.)

The beautiful Ashley Valley in the Unita Basin

 Arthur was a trooper

 Grammy was also a trooper

 Evelyn was my shadow

Arthur is always intrigued by his older sister

The "Scales and Tails" exhibit and show at the Uinta County Fair

Evelyn doesn't share her mother's revulsion for snakes

The Little Red Barn was Evelyn's favorite: one gathers eggs,
produce and dairy, and then sells them at the store where they
can buy a treat with their earnings certificate

 Gathering eggs

And putting them in the basket with her fruit and vegetables

And they win a ribbon at the fair

This young lad climbed the stairs by himself

I think the parents had a nice weekend, and the grandparents did too. That's all for now.

OXO
