Day Two: Close to Home

On Thursday, we stayed in Edenbridge, helping at home, playing catch with Nashi, taking care of National-Health registration for Brig, picking up prescriptions, and shopping for food. Edenbridge is a great and picturesque little town and it is fun to enjoy something so different from Spanish Fork (for example).

 Thursday market in Edenbridge

The produce was lovely, but certainly not all local

 Boots Dispensing Chemists

 Local butcher

Wonderful-looking meat

What better place to kill than at home: family values

An assortment of bread, cheese, pate, and meats
from Tesco and Waitrose

Rose hips spotted while playing catch with Nashi in the back garden

View down the High Street toward the bridge over the Eden

View up the street - note Tesco on the right

Looking in the direction of Marlpit Hill where the Boyntons live

 Tom bell provided dinner

I tried rock fish for the first time - prefer cod or haddock

Nashi and Chibi with their new "brother"

We are off to the church and a few other errands, so this is all for now.

OXO
