Up-to-Date

With no new post since early February, it's time to bring this life record up-to-date:

February 22nd the snow was still falling. By afternoon, the roads were clear and we had Rod and Vicki join us for an adventure in Northern Utah. We heard from Daniel, whose English colleague recommended it, that there is a good chippy in Roy. An internet search turned up the Taste of Britain and we were on our way. They were really good (probably the best I've had in the States), but still not quite the same. Twas a fun adventure.

Very decent fish and chips

On March 1st we attended the conference on intersecting faith at UVU. Daniel was a planner and organizer and the result was excellent. Joanna Brooks was one of the panelists and I enjoyed listening to and meeting her. That evening Katy displayed and sold some of her photography at Tom's St. David's Day open house at his new development in the old Startup Building across from the new Frontrunner station.

Timp can be such a treat!

After many months in our neighborhood last year, on March 4th the madness resumed in Provo. The next reach of the ongoing water line project started in front of the MTC on 900 East. To get to work, Kris now must follow a circuitous route through the neighborhood west of the MTC. It seems like this project will never be complete.

Arrrgh!

March is birthday month. Tucker March 4, Phillip March 6, Lizzie March 10, Clara March 14, Jayson March 15, Beck March 22, Maren March 25, and me March 27. On the 6th we celebrated with Phillip and family at La Casita, and yesterday we celebrated St. Patrick's Day together with Phillip's, Jayson's, and Lizzy's birthdays (mostly Lizzy's).

Luis comped us two orders of guacamole! That's lots better than
15 servers clapping wildly and singing some crazy version of
Happy Birthday to You

Meg, Phillip, and Kris at La Casita

 Me, Meags, and Ollie

In honor of good ol' St. Patrick

 A Merida birthday

The birthday girl and her mom who has mad skills

We'll have to see how the rest of the month plays out, but that's all for now.

OXO

Always sad to be so far removed from the grand March birthday madness and partying. Love to all the birthday folks.

David,

Just checking to see if you know about this blog: http://newtempleinprovo.blogspot.com/

The blogger is taking pictures and documenting the transformation from Tabernacle to Temple.

Pretty fun to follow.
