February 2023

February was over before we could turn around -- it helps that there are only 28 days! Theater, great announcements, fun outings with the Taylor-Woodburys, Valentines, Group sendoff for Rod and Vic, closet organization for Kris, new Brazilian restaurant, LOTS of spring snow storms, hosting a dinner for Meg and her posse, and a Sunday brunch were among the many things that happened during the extra-short month. At the tail end of the month we got serious about our upcoming adventure with Debra Sue in Paris and London at the end of March.

January 2023

The new year started to roar by and January is just a memory. It had a few new wrinkles: dinner with the kiddos before the Youngs returned to AZ, SKT's birthday, a new drivers license arrived, we started Wednesday evening dinner with the Ensign girls, a fun dinner at our house with Hank and Kristy who are practically buried in snow in their home at Sundance (sadly, no photo), and we joined Rod an Vic for a "last supper" before they head to Italy in February.

Our favorite since 1978 (photo cred. Maren)

So, not a bad month.

December 2022

Such a wonderful start to December! The Colvers came from Vernal for a quick visit and Katy Kathryn completed the gifted organization of our office. December also included the installation of a new solar power system, which has still to be activated, though it wouldn't matter because it is buried under a foot of snow. Before all the kiddos headed home for Christmas, we had family dinner. A day or so later I delivered Meg at SLC where she encountered Madi and Erick on their way to Mexico. The Youngs arrived very close to Christmas this year, but the celebrations were unaffected. The traditional Greek dinner was moved to New Year's Eve, and poof, the year was over.
