Fourth of July Celebration in Provo 2014

The celebration in Provo starts before the 4th with all kinds of activities. On the third, several elected to go the the hot-air balloon launch. It was an early morning and the wind picked up a bit and some of the balloons failed to launch. That was fine because Emily had tickets for breakfast. That evening Kris and I asked to be excused from SNAP and joined the family for dinner at the Food Truck Roundup. The morning of the 4th, Anna and the boys, together with Millie, ran the in the 5K run. The parade was next, followed by some pool time at the Provo Rec. Late afternoon the DAT and SKT families gathered at Steve and Tiffany's for dinner, visiting, and fireworks.

June to July 2014

The fun with the Young kids continued while their parents enjoyed Italy. Auntie Em kept them well entertained (many thanks!) with lemonade stands, picnics, swimming, Monte Bean Museum, BYU Creamery, and Sodalicious drinks. The Hastings arrived from Reno on Monday the 30th, and the Youngs arrived from Italy one day late on July 1. With that, the fun began in earnest.
